Emma completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) at Curtin University of Technology (WA) in 2002. She moved to Cairns in 2005 and dedicated herself to studying and practicing Hand & Upper Limb Rehabilitation. Emma became an Accredited Hand Therapist (As Awarded by AHTA) in late 2007 and opened the Cairns Hand Clinic in 2008. Since this time she has been treating patients from all over FNQ and evolving the clinic. Emma furthered her studies in 2016 passing her Certified Hand Therapy Examination (HTCC) that year. Emma currently works part time, running the clinic and seeing patients.
