Therapists
Emma Kite
Emma qualified as a Hand Therapist (MAHTA) with the Australian Hand Therapy Association in 2007. She has a passion for this specialty area
and has undertaken a life-long study of the complex workings of the hand and upper limb. She opened Cairns Hand Clinic in 2008 to share her
specialist knowledge and skills with patients and provide a service that helps people to make a full and quick recovery from hand injuries or surgery.
Emma's background is in Occupational Therapy. She graduated from Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia in 2002 with a
Bachelor in Health Science (BScOT). Shortly after her undergraduate studies Emma moved to Cairns to combine her two passions - hand therapy
and all things outdoors in Tropical Far North Queensland.
